Co-working Space & Business Hub

In Spring 2025, we are opening a series of Co-working and meeting facilities for the Cornish Community (Visitors also welcome to use). We will not be a traditional co-working environment instead we will be predominantly orientated towards creating a friendly community of people running businesses from a beautiful heritage building. Those needing occasional working space will have the opportunity to dip in and use facilities as well as our regular users.

This could not have been achieved without the support of the UK government and Cornwall Council. Phase 1 of renovations have been Part funded by the Shared Prosperity Fund.

What can you book ?
We have bookable desk space, a break out room and 2 meeting rooms. We offer a workplace where you can meet and work. Our rates are affordable for micro-businesses and start ups and other organisations needing a meeting facility whilst keeping running costs low.

Core hours are 9.30-5pm – Some access available outside these times by prior arrangement

How much will it cost ?
We will have a two tier system.
A membership fee and significantly reduced rate for regular businesses (eg those willing to commit to a 12 month regular booking arrangement). As an indication a member booking a desk for 1 day a week will pay £40-£60 a month.

Ad hoc bookings for non-members will be £20 a day. All daily bookings will have free use of the break out room.

This includes a kitchenette and casual meeting space.

Meeting Rooms

Currently these are small meeting rooms suitable for smaller groups of up to 8 people. We are working towards creating a more flexible space that can be opened up to accommodate up to 20 people. There is an interconnecting door if required.

Future plans
The income will be used to invest in the facilities to provide additional business services
such as photocopying, additional desks and facilities further down the line.

Funding

Phase 1 of renovations were part-funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
Cornwall Council has been chosen by Government as a Lead Authority for the fund and is responsible for monitoring the progress of projects funded through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
